It's about that time again- yes trick or treat but is true. But, I was referencing the season of yuletide spirit, goodwill toward man - Yes the HOLIDAYS. And to those of us with a shop it seems to come sooner and sooner each year.
I have my shop set up for fall right now- some Halloween and then pretty much autumnal for the rest. But I am itching to get it down and then bring on the holiday look.
I have a tree to set up and place tons of ornaments that I have worked on all summer. It will glitter with white and silver. It will have hand stamped muslin ribbon wound around it and will shimmer with lights twinkling. I will have glittered snowflakes hanging from the piano music rolls in the ceiling.
I will have glittered houses, burlap and lace stockings,
the ever popular spindle trees -so if you shopped with me in October at Cameron and didn't get one before they sold out - don't worry I'll have more in the shop.
And then there are many sentimental holiday words that will be scattered about.
There is a ton to do and I can't wait for Halloween to come and go so I can
deck the halls
so to speak.
You know, I am really excited for holiday decorating this year, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the tree Tammy.
ReplyDeleteGave me an idea: Think I will make a whole bunch of my flower bird nests to put on mine for the store. That and some white paper doves.
Will be a great way to display my nests.
thanks for the inspiration.

I can't wait to see all of your creations!! I really wish i would have got to come to Cameron to buy one of your chicken feeders! Ah... maybe nest time!
ReplyDeleteLove this blog, and your work. I will visit again, and I am a new follower.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that I'm not the only one ready to take down Halloween decor and get on with the Christmas decor! I feel like my booth takes all my decorating and my house lacks. Can't wait to see pictures of your booth!
