This is the tale of a sad pitiful Empire Buffet that I picked up at an auction. She was in the last row to be auctioned off on a very hot day in a non air conditioned auction house so people were pooped by the time she became available. Not me though I knew to hang till the end and make her mine. I could see the little Cinderella in her once she got a new dress and jewelry.
With her wonderful white gown- distressed a bit as she still was the same girl underneath.
And then her jewelry got a nice silver lift.
I think she looks smashing all ready for her ball.
All the nicely dressed go there to show off.
Your princess turned out beautifully. Her lines and structure can really be seen! Happy WW

Well it came out just beautifully! I love these old workhorse dressers and sideboards. The drawers are so deep and can store scads of stuff.
