Monday - cameron day treasures

It hit me. It hit me hard. I have only 2 months to get all my items ready for our Spring show. That show is May 1st and I have sat on my big fat butt doing nothing up until now. Well doing nothing is an overstatement. I have been busy with the house, the kids, etc..but for my business- NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH.
I haven't felt really motivated as I am a sun girl. No sun then me no do anything. Well I can not use that as an excuse at all. So, I dusted off my butt and got at it. I made a list of categories to attack and number one was my pile of china and glassware. I went to town making glass pedestals, cake plates, tiered stands, bird feeders, bird baths, etc. I still need to find some smaller candlestick holders to make into individual cupcake stands but I did rather well. That category is done. Now it is on to the wood small items.
Here is a sampling of what I created this weekend.

Now it is off to paint wooden items, sand them, distress them and mark another category off the long list.
Yikes only 61 days to finish it all- good thing I thrive under pressure :)

  8. Beautiful! I have to ask, what type of glue do you use? I had a disastrous run-in with Gorilla Glue. I tried twice and then completely shelved the whole thing...but I'm dying to try again because I'm stubborn!!!

And I'm with you-- the sun makes a HUGE difference in my productivity. Enough of this gloomy grey weather already!
