Spring Anew

I've been out working in the gardens the past two days since our weather has been amazing. I have been clearing out some remaining leaves that have fallen from all the neighbor's trees and noticed new growth.
Sure signs that spring is on it's way. See them poking through the cold dirt and wet cold leaves?

Even the hydrangea is growing. It is putting forth new life into this cold and sleeping ground.

Daffodils? Peeking out to come welcome spring.

Even the ever present moss growing on the slick brick patio show that it is time for the seasons to change. It is time for new life.

I, personally can not wait. It is my favorite season of all. I love to see all of natures splendor to awaken and show us her beauty. To renew faith that out of the cold comes fresh new life.
Now remind me of this when the pollen hits and takes over
:)

  5. Glad you're having good weather. We have incredible wind and rain (No. Calif) here. My hydrangea need pruning so badly, but I'm waiting til March, or so I'm told.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy that a pilot's wife saw my planes:)

  6. Geeeez, Tammy. We still have 4 months of winter here before seeing the first teeny signs of Spring, and March & April are our big snow months!
Pretty amazing seeing shoots coming up @ your house already!!!
    Have a Happy,

  7. Tammy,
I keep Southern Pines on my weather.com desktop weather and I was so jealous yesterday of your temps. I'm trying to make myself go out and do some flowerbed clean up and take down Christmas lights because it's going to get all the way up to low 40's! Lucky you!

  8. I'm so jealous! The ground here in Pittsburgh is still frozen solid, 27 degrees this morning :(

  9. I do so love the spring, too. But, I had to laugh at your comment about the pollen. My porch and everything on it gets a green haze that I have to mop/wipe down frequently!! That is the one down side to spring. I'll still take it! =)
