Well off to IKEA with the two little kids and my mom. Gotta get another sink since hubby and college son broke the one we have. Also, have to get a counter top for the island that is on order.
It is coming together and I hope to have pictures to post on Sunday evening.
Enjoy the last few days of summer all..but alas I am ready for fall- bring it on.
Is it too early to get out the fall decor?
Hope you had a good shopping trip and found your sink, Tammy. Your kitchen is going to be so beautiful~and I know you'll be glad to have it finished!
ReplyDeleteIkea is one of my favorite places to shop lately. They have these wonderful cinnamon buns for only $1 and when I did my daughters babyshower I purchased them and wrapped them individually for favors to take home with a sticker that said Bun In The Oven. So hubby shops and I eat my way through Ikea:) Good luck with your new sink and let's hold onto summer a bit longer.

Fall is definitely making it's entrance up here in the mountains. I was thinking yesterday that it might be time to change out some accents.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day, Tammy!

Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteI imagine its the same Ikea we have in the UK? They have wonderful things for the home, I always come away with to many things. I think these months have flown by. Enjoy your shopping spree. best wishes Julie.C
ReplyDeleteI usually wait for after Labor Day for the Fall decor, but I must admit I pulled a bit out of the closet today!!! :D Jewel
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love Ikea! Too bad about the sink though.
ReplyDeleteOk I must say I choked up when reading about leaving your son at his new dorm room. My kiddo is 16 and I feel that I'm just watching the clock tick away before she flies away. I don't think I can stand not seeing her beautiful face everyday. Here's to you for being a brave mom!!!
Tammy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and for continuing to pray for my mom. I am trying to keep my blog up with current posts, but I miss not having the time to get around to everyone else's blog and leave comments.
I stayed with mom last night, so I was able to travel around blogland a little bit.
She didn't sleep good last night. Lots of coughing. I think we slept about 3 hours.
She keeps encouraging to keep my blog going because she knows how much I enjoy it. I have been checking in on your posts, just not always able to comment.
You were one of my first blogging friends when I started, and I think you are precious!
Blessings,
Traci
