{ What a Weekend }

The Southern Bloggers Conference in Raleigh was AH-MAZING.

Why ?
There are many reasons:

1.  A weekend with no kids.

2. The warm welcome we received even while checking in.

 3. The amazing speakers.

Hometalk did an amazing presentation.  Really had me thinking and planning.

Karianne from Thistlewood Farm was by far my favorite speaker..she has so much enthusiasm and makes you feel comfortable.  And she was so funny and genuine.  She was who I was most excited to meet.  And being a shy person- she drew me out and it was so much fun.

Kelly from Eclectically Vintage was so genuine and had really good information to share.  She was so nice.  I really enjoyed her- and her Jersey background..:)

I had met Brittany from Pretty Handy Girl last fall on the thrifting trip with Marian- aka Miss Mustard Seed.  But it was great to see her in her element of knowledge.  The girl is amazing at what she can do..very inspirational.

More speakers were available also..Rhoda from Southern Hospitality, Heather from

4. The Hands on Demonstrations.

Annie Omar of Maison Blanche who showed us all the amazing chalk paint techniques.

Then Kristen from Sophia's Decor and Amy from Atta Girl Says showed us how to use milk paint.

5.  The competitions

6.  The new friends.

7. The weekend without the kids- oh yeah said that one already.

8. And the best part was spending it with my best friend from Texas- Liz.  She flew out to visit and went with me to the conference.  She does not have a blog YET but I think after this she just might start one.

I had a blast and can't wait till next year.
Will you attend next year?
