Tree garland

Dang that evil pottery barn
If you remember I decorated the ceiling of my booth with antique piano rolls.
 Loved it and still do.
I had some left over so figured that for Christmas I'd incorporate it into my tree by using it as garland.  I was going to stamp Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.  Well I cut my rolls in half to make them thinner and then stamped them for this:

Then yesterday the lovely - I look forward to it each year - pottery barn holiday catalog arrives.
And what is on the front cover?

My dang garland draping their ever so beautiful tree that's what.
Oh well guess I can look at it as - great minds think alike.

edited to add:  A lot of people were wondering about the stamps used..They are Heidi Swapp double sided foam stamps in the New Orleans font.  A friend - Liz- bought them for me.  Hope that helps.  Now go make your own garland.

  8. What a fabulous idea! Great (crafty) minds do think alike! Now (sadly) I don't have any antique piano paper, but this gor me thinking. Although it will be narrower, what about buying a roll of paper that is used in tills or credit card machines. I think that would work pretty well too! Thanks for the inspiration!

  9. PB has been hacking some good ideas lately. I saw the post on Suzanne's lockers too.

PB isn't the trend setter. You lovely creative ladies are!

    Thanks for the stamp info!
