Peely-chippy-wonderfulness

Yes and it is all mine.  All mine I tell you.

Isn't it wonderful?  It is so old and it was left outside for so long that it is just flaking off.

I am going to have to clean her off some which will probably make all the peeling- barely hanging on paint fall off.  I will redo her paint job in a white - maybe dry brush or wash.  I don't want it solid white.

She is going to become the head board for our bedroom.  I can not wait to get it done and don't worry I will show you.  But some things have to happen first- like drywall over a window that is never opened as it can see right into our neighbors bedroom and they can see into ours. Not something either of us want.

 But isn't it amazing?

So, I thought the first photo would make a neat background for a blog page -but I have no idea how to do that.  So, if anyone knows how to do it for a 3 column I'd love for you to tell me how...
Have you rescued any peely-chippy-wonderfulness lately?

  1. Hi Tammy, well she is stunning, and I'm a little jealous ;)
Can't wait to see what you do with her. On the blog background, I'm not sure either but I did try it once, when you fiddle around with it in your "design" section, then click advanced there is a spot to add your own background, but it does tell you that the pixels have to be a certain size etc. Or shall I say the photo has to be so many pixels by so many pixels if that helps, it will tell you according to your template.

  8. Fantastic find, eh? Can't wait to see how you install it as a headboard - should be just lovely!

Now, I like what you did with your header but unsure how to make your photo for just one blog page... are you in 'design' and then 'template designer' then 'background' and 'background image'? That could put your pic as a background on the entire blog.
