A Neutral America

Wouldn't that be an awesome idea?
An America that was neutral.

I decided for my shows I needed a bit of Americana.
You can't sell in Ft. Brag Army territory with out being a bit patriotic- it is in a military members blood.
But I wanted it to be a bit more neutral and not so in your face.
Welcome to my neutral take on the great American Flag.

Step one:
Use the overhead projector to draw it on.

Use some watered down Annie Sloan pure white chalk paint to paint the stars and stripes.

And finally Annie Sloan clear wax, add hardware and completed.

  8. Very cute Tammy! We just found a simple dresser we(I use the term loosely) plan on doing a subway poster look on. I told Mr.Smith he has 5 weeks till the next show after this Sat. We were just talking about using a projector for it too! Have a great Easter!

  9. Tammy, this is beautiful. I don't have a projector. Do you know where I could get a star stencil?

  10. This is so great - I love the subtle, neutral feel. It really softens the graphic flag. Love it.
