Sometimes you happen to find something that is perfect just as is.
You don't want to do anything to it.
You don't want to mess up the peeling, cracking, flaking paint of beauty.
So, you buy it and clean it gingerly then sell it knowing the right person will find it and love it.
That happened to this high chair.
A photographer saw it and had to have it for her baby photos..I can't wait to see a little one in it. Check her out on face book at Simple Faith Photography
You are so right! It's perfect just the way it is. I'm sure the photographer will create some wonder photos with it.

Just lovely in all its "chippy-ness" .... I have that exact high chair & it is all chippy & kind of ugly.... BUT I am keeping it... It was my grandfather's.. isn't that fun??
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful ending to a beautiful find!

You're so right. This little one's chair doesn't need a thing! I love the color and the chipped paint -- perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by today and this little high chair is adorable. I had a similar one years ago for my now 4 year old that I found at a flea market. Unfortunately I had to paint it to make it look like this. lol
ReplyDeleteI hope the photographer shares some pics with you of beautiful babies in the beauty!
Definately agree with your suggestion on NC by the way. I have a friend looking to relocate there.

That's exactly what I want to find to keep here for grandkids! (but with just a little sanding and sealing) It's pure perfection!
ReplyDeleteWow, great find, I love it! I would definitely just leave the chair like this, too - not only that green belongs to my favorite colors, this chippy-ness adds some special atmosphere to the piece. I would love to see the baby pics once they are taken, too.
