Well just thought I'd let you all know that I will be out of town Sunday - Tuesday. I was fortunate to "win" some items at an online auction that my fave Auction House in Berryville, Va has - Hash Auctions. It was in May and they have been kind enough to hold my items till I could get up there to get them. I rented the lovely 6 x 12 foot trailer from U Haul today and my father is going to drive up there with me tomorrow. We decided it would be more fun to attend their weekly Monday auction while we were there. So, we'll hit the hotel tomorrow night then hit the auction bright and early on Monday - hopefully "win" some more :) Then load up and stay the night at the hotel and rest for our drive home on Tuesday. Wish me luck on winning items. My sister and I have decided to try having a booth at the Fall Cameron Day fair in October so we'll be buying items we can re-purpose and make awesome.
I will have so much fun I know it. I used to go to these auctions a lot when the family lived up in WV but now that we are all in NC we don't tend to get up that way as much...watch out I am aiming to "win".
