Wow...those chairs are fabulous! What a fantastic job you did on them... I just happened to spy a little tiny bit of your mantel in one of the chair photos and I think I'm in love. I'm going to try to look around your blog to see if you have any full photos of it. I've been working on my mantel and I have a couple old beat up windows (I noticed you do too). I love the mercury silver glassware it looks like you have on the mantel...gorgeous! Beth

So nice. I love the number combination.
ReplyDeleteI like the new look of the ladder back chairs. I have fun transforming
ReplyDeletefurniture too.
What a fun project! You must have been very patient to paint out all those words and numbers. I probably would have just done numbers to save on time!!! But I think it's worth it to have that added quirkyness and interest to the backs of the chairs.
ReplyDeleteNumbered painting is so hot right now! Cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteThese look great..love the numbers and words on the backs.
ReplyDeleteI have a question...I just bought a table and 4 chairs exactly like this on Craig's list...the seats are in great shape so don't want to change them out but when you took them off do they fall apart? Do I have to tape and cover them when I paint...would be so much easier if I could remove them safely wile aI painted and then replace them .
Thanks for any tips!
Sue
The color used on the numbers is wonderful! Creative transformation of the chairs from the material choice, paint color, distressing and numbers!!
