Arrgh too much to do not enough time :)

Well this weekend was a whirlwind of activity. I have decided that we were going to try different festivals in neighboring towns this year instead of the same old "our town" ones.

This weekend was the 41st Buggy Festival in Carthage. It advertised all free rides for kids so I figured it would be good for that alone.

As you can see the kids loved the "in the air" ride. They were jumping like pros. They have said they need to learn to do flips for next year.

Then it was on to the swing and the little train.

There was food galore and lots of craft vendors and artisans. I did pick up some cool items for Christmas gifts but can't post those here. After a fun filled - hot, sunny, and tiring day we headed home. I had a to do list from heck and all I managed to get done this weekend on that list was laundry. Very sad indeed.

Sunday for mom's day we had my parents over for dinner. It was a nice quiet meal and then we all sat out on the front porch till time for the kids to go to bed.

Today I spent the day with all girls- mom, sister, daughter and myself all at the mega woman's heaven- HOBBY LOBBY. I have not been there in over 4 months but after looking at some fave blogs and all their good finds there I had to go. It was calling me. Now, I know all you other hobby lobby lovers know that it is true - hobby lobby does call you. I got some really fun iron items to paint white and put in the new master bath and some other fun stuff to do. I will post the project results when they are done. But it was a good day - hobby lobby, joanns, arby's for lunch, tjmaxx. Who could ask for more?
